This summer has been great! It's crazy to think that it's just about over. Jenn has spent almost the entire summer outside with Connor. He cries when we bring him in! He'll be a mountain man someday, or a cowboy. I've been working at Mozy for the last 6 month, and love it. I've traveled a little for conferences and trade shows; Las Vegas, and just got back from a week in Austin. We also took our summer Montana trip! Tubing, Echo lake Cafe, Sun Mountain, all the places and things we love. Jenn and Connor ended up staying up there for three weeks! Here are a bunch of random pics of things like the zoo, Connor's first birthday (yay!) tubing, hot tubbing, kayaking, and many more!

Springtime Is Finally Here

No blog entries in a while. There's a good chance that we might be the worst bloggers in the world. In fact, if there is anyone even reading this, I'll be surprised that anyone is still following our blog. The last few months have been absolutely crazy. Connor is almost 9 months old now. He crawls, cruises, and walk/runs with help from Mom or Dad. He loves to run actually, so we'll make trips up and down the hallway with Connor's little chubby legs working their hardest to keep up with the rest of his body. He loves it though, he just giggles and squeals the whole time. Jenn is doing great at the stay-at-home-mom thing. Granted there are days she texts me telling me how bored she is and how cranky Connor is when he has a bad nap, but she loves it, and loves spending so much time with Connor. Their days usually consist of playing right when Connor wakes up; changing him; a hearty breakfast of creamed something or other for Connor, and then playing with Mesia and Seneca or Laura and Kamryn. They go to the playground a lot. Connor loves to swing. They also do all the random stuff that Mom's and babies do like go to museums and the public library. The whole time they do this I work and go to school, although that has changed as of this week.
I recently decided that I wasn't going to go to school during summer term, and also got a new job. I've been working at the RedX for the last 14 months as a Certified Prospecting Specialist. The RedX provides leads, prospecting, and management tools for real estate professionals. With the skills and knowledge I learned there, I was able to apply and be offered a job with Mozy.com. I'm essentially doing the same thing I was, except for a lot more money, which is AWESOME. The same day I was offered a job with Mozy, I was called to serve as the 2nd counselor in the bishopric of a singles ward at UVU. For those of you who aren't members of the LDS church, the Bishopric consists of three men from the congregation who lead and manage the entire congregation. It's a large resposibility and time commitment, but I'm totally excited anyway. It'll be a good experience.
Things are great in the Fenn household. Here are some recent pics from the last few months.

Out shooting with the boys.

...again...

Jenn and I at a friends birthday party playing Sequence.

David, myself and Matt. Its IBC root beer. Really.

Charisse, Brittany, and Jenn, and again, I swear, thats a washed out root beer bottle Connor's got to his mouth.

This is the picture of my white-trash son. Sweatpants, unbuttoned flannel shirt, and a mohawk.

Easter Sunday.

Look at that pot-belly.

Laughing it up on the swings.

February and Camping

This is Tyler and Connor in their matching outfits. Tyler got his new 'camping pants' at walmart, and found a pair of camo pants for Connor a few days later at Kmart. Aren't they so cute?!

We went camping for four days down by St. George over Presidents Day weekend. The highlight of the trip, (besides the crazy trip there) was three-wheeling on the sand dunes. Tyler even took Connor for his first ride!

If you look closely at this picture, Curtis is off the ground with his three-wheeler. If you've ever ridden one of those old machines, you know how hard that is. Tyler also brags about his great photography...

This is a picture from the dunes. Curtis and Tyler found that they had as much fun riding on the rocks as they did the sand. Our campsite is the the white spots above and left of Curtis.

Connor's first morning on his first camping trip!

It was cold while we were there. We had him bundled up almost the whole time. One night the temperature was in the single digits.

This is Connors first meal with solid food. He didn't swallow a lot of it, but it was fun and so cute!

Connor and Mom

Mom and naked Connor. Isn't his bum so cute?

Connor fell asleep holding his toy, while hanging out in the front-pack. He has a death grip, so it's hard to pry the toys out of his little hands, even when he's sleeping!

The Last Part of 2008...

We went to Montana for Christmas and it snowed the whole time we were there. It was insane! It probably snowed a total of 26 inches in the 8 days we were there. This shows the back patio at Tyler's parents house in Bigfork about an hour after he shoveled it. It snowed about 3 inches in that hour!

This Is Christmas Day. After spending the morning at my house, we went back to Tyler's to hang out and open presents with James and Carmen. Here's Connor with Uncle James.

Christmas Morning at the Nolands. Uncle Ty and Grandpa Noland.

While we were up in Montana, I got to hang out with Melea, Andrea, and Valissa and their babies. It was so fun!

This was a random picture I snapped while they were sleeping. It wasn't set up like you might think! This is the real deal.

Here's little Connor driving Grandpa Fenn's truck while were Christmas shopping in Kalispell. Don't worry, we were parked in a parking lot!

Little Connor with Aunts Stephany, Bridgett, and Arrianne.

Look at that smile!

Tyler bought Connor an ExcerSaucer from KSL one day. They're normally around $100-$150, but he found it for $10! Connor absolutely loves it. There are times though that it frustrates him. He gets mad at the toys when he can't fit them in his mouth.

His little Russian winter hat.

Poor kid! He looks so vulnerable at the doctors office!

Tyler's family grew up with old Honda 3-wheelers. Over the past ten years or so, his brother Jared rebuilt a few of the old ones, and it has become a family tradition now. Between the four brothers, they have ten or twelve of them. They are so fun, especially because they're so small.

Connor's first Thanksgiving. This is at my uncle John's house up in South Jordan. The whole family was there, and the brunch was so good.

This is Grandma Fenn and Connor, right before Tyler's parents left for their mission. They are serving in El Salvador, helping to build the temple there. If you look close, you can see Connor totally sucking his thumb!

The rest of these pictures are from Halloween. The only costume we could find that fit (that wasn't rediculously priced) was this pumpkin. We were hesitant at first, but after putting it on him, we decided it was a good choice. He was the life of the party.

This is our pumpkin we carved. We walked with the stroller to a house across the neighborhood that was selling them, and it weighed so much we had to carry Connor and push the pumpkin. It weighed about 55 lbs, and in the bottom of the stroller there is another squash that weighed another 25. We were worried the stroller was going to break! We had stranged looks from the cars that drove by. They probably thought we were nuts!

Connor

Connor is growing up so fast! Lately he loves to drool. We're not sure if it's voluntary or not, but the spit is EVERYWHERE. He also loves his bath time, and tummy time too. He's just over ten weeks old... Here's the latest of him.

Connor's Blessing Day

Connor is now nine weeks old. He's doing so well! This weekend has been a busy one for all of us. Both sets of Connors grandparents were in town for his blessing, so he has been passed around from relative to relative quite a bit. We missed him! Luckily, we get to hold him all the time. Here's the latest pictures of Connor and Family.
